							| "Beginners Guide to Woodcarving
by Jonathon Ridgeon is fantastic, the short book
literally offers the reader dependable and vibrant
photographs, mixed in with extremely clear and
concise writing to support them. This book, as with the others in the series written
by Jon points the reader toward seeing such beauty
and art within such basic of materials, which
inspires us to want to recreate it for ourselves.
The great way in which this book has been written,
makes what you read seem tangible, as if we can
connect the invisible line from book to reality.
It also offers us, the reader, a very involved and
well written bonus article on how to correctly
sharpen our tools, and displays the enormous amount
of skill Jon holds. After all “seeing is believing”
and the photos certainly helps us to see this. To
me, the sign of a fantastic tutorial! "
